The Hartbeespoort Tourist Association and its members are privileged to be located in the Magaliesberg Biosphere Reserve and will continuously develop and promote awareness of the Biosphere Reserve, confident that this will best serve the interests of tourism and all people in the area.
The Hartbeespoort Dam area is the tourism hub of the Magaliesberg region. It has the largest number of tourist facilities and attractions and it receives the overwhelming majority of visitors. It lies in the heart of the new Biosphere Reserve and it is the focal point from which awareness of the entire Biosphere Reserve can most effectively be communicated.
Hartbeespoort Tourism Aqssociation is the tourism industry working together to ensure quality and service for visitors to Hartbeespoort and is dedicated to assisting businesses in the Hartbeespoort area, particularly within the Tourism Sector.
The association caters for all and is made up of businesses ranging from the very large (self-sufficient) to the smaller (one or few employees), each having their own set of skills and expertise. Harties Tourism serves to bring these players together and in turn allow networking between them. The aim here is to get knowledge regarding the various facets of a business to those who need it, and to provide a platform for the members to showcase themselves. This is achieved through the new Harties Information Office located at the Cableway where an array of marketing material is available for visitors to choose from.
